Applications

In the context of aligning the Auditors Law of 2017, Law No. 53(I)/2017 with Directive (EU) 2022/2464 on corporate sustainability reporting, the necessary amendments have been made and the Auditors (Amended) Law (the “Law”) of 2025 has entered into force as of 29 July 2025.

Statutory auditors who were licensed or have been qualified to conduct statutory audits prior to 1 January 2026, must acquire the necessary knowledge in sustainability reporting and the assurance of sustainability reporting, via continuing education, within 18 months prior to the date of their application to become a sustainability assurance service provider.
